OK Ladies, it's time to celebrate my birthday with a wee ride.
We will start a little bit later for once, as I will go home and drop of my bag. And get into my Hawaiian shirt and I do hope you lot will do the same, as the weather should be right for it.
Starting point would be at the
www.beerintheevening.com... target="_blank">Abbey in Kentish town (
maps.google.co.uk... target="_blank">NW1 9QB, corner of Kentish Town Road and Bartholomew Road) at 7-7.30pm for a 8.30pm take off. It is run by a friend who have just taken it over and they are really planning to make it into a bike friendly pub, plenty of space in the beer garden plus stuff to lock your bikes too. There is food on the menu if you feel a bit peckish and it was pretty good when I tried it. Though there was a big lack of ales there, I am sorry and have passed it over to the management all ready, so if we all turn up and shout ale ale ale more ale, I'm sure that they get the point :)
We will then start our
www.gmap-pedometer.com... target="_blank">13'ish ride down through Camden, Clerkenwell to Borough where to catch our breath at the
www.beerintheevening.com... target="_blank">Wheatsheaf.
If we then still have time and people is up for it we will head for the
www.beerintheevening.com... target="_blank">Constitution in Pimlico. And now it is all coming down to timing, we all know what have happened on the other rides :)

N.B. mustaches, sunglasses and hats are welcome not obligation, but the Hawaiian shirt is, if you fail to have that, bring something ridiculous and no lycra is not. oh remember to bring light.
